MASTER OF SCIENCE IN

INFORMATION SYSTEMS MANAGEMENT

The Master of Science in Information Systems Management (MScISM) program is designed for business executives and future leaders who want to harness technology to initiate innovative IT business solutions and professionals pursuing career advancement and management expertise. This is not a technical degree; studies are focused on management of technology functions and staff.

The MScISM program was first launched in 1997 with only part-time study mode. Since its inception, the MScISM program has been widely recognized by business executives and IT professionals who want to harness IT management skill for company competitiveness and career advancement as a premier academic program.  In 2016, a full-time study mode was launched as an extension of the well-established part-time program to provide rigorous education to those qualified students who are interested in harnessing various forms of technology-enabled business innovations.

Since its inception, the program curriculum has been continuously revising to meet the growing and specialized demands of the IT industry. Besides offering IT management knowledge and skills as the core subjects, three required technical courses are offered for non-technical students to build a solid foundation for communicating with IT professionals.

Based on individual interests and needs, students can declare two concentrations of (1) Financial Technology and (2) Technology and Innovation Entrepreneurship by taking specified electives. These optional concentrations offer specified training in specific areas to assist graduates preparing to work in specified fields.

The program also provides exchange opportunity to London Business School and ESSEC Business School for selected students to gain international exposure.
